Dental Clinic

We all went to the Pt England Dental Clinic.  

Heidi and the other dentists looked at our teeth, we had to open our mouths really WIDE!

Some of us got our teeth cleaned and some got X-rays.  

There were lots of things to look at.

We are all very good at looking after our teeth and remembering to brush.

For our topic on Technology, we are learning about making Christmas sweets. And so, we went to the Old Lolly Shop in Takapuna to see how lollies are made. We even had a chance to make our own lollipop!

Feeling the Mud

For our independent writing language experience, we decided to go to the school field and walk on mud! It was such an interesting experience! Afterwards, we had so much to say and write about it.

Swimming at Panmure Pools

Hub 4 loves swimming! Every Tuesday, we go to Panmure Pools to swim. This term, we have our swim coach, Helen, to help us with our swimming skills. Check us out!

School Fair

For the Stonefields School Fair, we made lots of sweets and (paperweight) rocks to sell. We even made our own stall banner and sold our products at the fair by ourselves!  

Here's what some of our learners had to say about what they did for our school fair:

We made sweets for the school fair.  We made 3 sweets: they were hokey pokey, fudge and rocky road. The school fair was on Saturday 17 October. I enjoyed putting the sweets into the bags. I helped put in the hokey pokey and the fudge and Daniel helped with the rocky road. - by Joseph
